CRSTE seeks to build regional cooperation in the Washington, D.C. region by providing leadership and service to improve teaching and learning by advancing the effective use of technology in education. CRSTE's chief purpose is to provide a regional mechanism for collaboration and cooperation in the pursuit of this mission.
Our Goals:
Provide value-added benefits to members of existing educational technology organizations participating in CRSTE through the sharing of ideas, opportunities and resources.
Promote accessibility to professional development opportunities across the national capital region.
Advocate for instructional technology at the state and federal levels.
Serve as a forum for technology leaders in the national capital region.
Build partnerships between PreK-12, higher education and private industry.
Utilize technology to collaborate nationally and globally with like-minded partners.
Invite pre-service teachers to participate through regional teacher training programs.
Membership is open to any educational technology organization interested in promoting the purposes of CRSTE with their membership.
