Instruction

Teachers
Master teachers are the core of all successful school programs, from the primary grades through the university level. CRSTE recognizes master teachers as both instructional specialists and experts in human development. As society experiences a paradigm shift into the Information Age, CRSTE seeks to support teachers in acquiring the tools and skills needed to help students prepare for the global economy of the 21st century.

CRSTE aspires to go beyond the familiar "how-to" model of technology professional development, emphasizing education's place in determining technology's role in instruction. With a sound pedagogical foundation for technology in instruction, CRSTE works to take teacher professional development to the next level, promoting student achievement through successful use of technology tools to promote creativity, critical thinking and problem solving.

Beyond simple integration, CRSTE promotes the goal of technology fluency: seamlessly and incidentally using technology across the curriculum in authentic, real-world applications. Technology fluency addresses the realities of the Information Age by teaching 21st century skills in the classroom, empowering students to be productive, successful adults.

CRSTE invites you to join us for meaningful, just-in-time professional development that meets the needs of your career and your pocketbook!
