All of his instructional staff members were
encouraged to host a blog to promote student writing. To inspire his staff, he took them to see the
movie Julie and Julia for an opening school year activity. The staff used Twitter as a backchannel with

and Learning conferences in his school district. The conferences were designed to help
district staff learn different ways to integrate technology into
education.
