Description:  In this session, I’ll cover how to create some basic models in SketchUp. You’ll learn about the basic drawing tools (Line, Rectangle, Circle, etc.), as well as the commonly-used editing tools. Along the way, we’ll use color and materials and learn how to edit them, explore how to use exact dimensions, learn how to use groups and components, and see how to use Google’s 3D Warehouse to find models of just about anything. We’ll also see how to integrate SketchUp models into Google Earth, see how to get models accepted into “official” Google Earth, and how to place your own models and collections into the 3D Warehouse.

What to Bring: A wireless laptop with a current browser and the ability to install and run Google SketchUp. Please have Google Earth Already installed.
